Curious about foraging or eager to learn the science behind mushrooms? Join us for an “Intro to Safe Mushroom Hunting” class and guided hike led by local Mushroom Hunter and Mycologist Daniel Foshee at Stackhouse Park.

You’ll learn how to safely identify and harvest wild mushrooms, guided by Daniel’s expert insights and passion for mycology.

What to Expect:

  • Interactive Class: Daniel Foshee will share his knowledge and tips for safe and successful mushroom hunting.
  • Guided Hike: Apply your knowledge on a guided hike, where you’ll spot and identify a the fungi growing within the heart of Stackhouse Park.
