STACKHOUSE SUBJECT FOR ARTS CENTER ANNIVERSARY PRINTS

Nationally known Pennsylvania Wildlife Artist, George LaVanish painted two Stackhouse Park wildlife scenes for the 40th Anniversary of the Community Arts Center of Cambria County.

LaVanish was the featured artist for the Tenth Anniversary of "Nature It's In Our Hands" Exhibit at the Arts Center, which ran during March 2008.

The print shown depicts a white-tailed deer doe crossing Elk creek in the park, with the famed stone pillars of one of the parks historic pavilions in the background.

LaVanish's second print incorporates a ruffed grouse and one of the parks storied, 1930s fireplaces.
